This place was perfect! We shared our choice of tacos. The mushroom taco was my favorite and ahi tuna my second favorite. The yuca fries were perfectly crisp and golden and the queso was on point. We would definitely recommend this place. We would frequent it if we lived in this area. Awesome outdoor seating, good beer selection, margaritas looked yummy 😋

Seriously the best meal we have had since moving to Colorado. Taco snobs after 30 years in San Diego and Baja. Outdid most taco shops in SD. That means a lot

Creative take on tacos and sides. Quick eats in a fun atmosphere located in the thick of Ridgway. SKA beers, canned wine and some cocktail options. Great price for the area and a wonderful option for a big city foodie vibe in a small mountain town.

Passing through town and had Gnar set as a recommend destination to catch a bite. I chose the Avo taco with chips and salsa. One tasty taco came out and looked like a fine dining garnished item. Certainly tasty and very fresh food. I didn't catch the que when asked "just one?"

Delicious, perfect for after hike starvation. Food came out super fast too. The Shrimp salad and the grilled portobello taco 🌮 were my favs. My only recommendation is to put some chairs outside for Covid friendly outdoor dining

There's not much more to say than "WOW".The tacos were delicious, and we'll definitely be back again soon. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. Skip the food in Ouray and drive down here! Great creative tacos. Tried four and they were all delicious. My fav was the pork belly. Queso on the yucca fries is top notch.

Creative take on the classic taco. This is not a traditional taco place, but if you are willing to try something creative and new you may just love this place. We've been to Gnar in Ridgeway and Telluride many times and we are always pleased the the great food and service. Pro Tip: two tacos, thier lemon aide, and some chops to share is the way to go.

Amazing tacos and salad place! Love the customer service and the delicious food. Tried this place in Telluride and Ridgway. Ridgway was faster service but both places are amazing!

Hit the spot! Honestly we are staying in ouray and have been so far disappointed with the food over there. This place was great! I don't think it was unreasonable either. We spent $50 including tip for 5 tacos, fries app and 2 beers. The pork belly was amazing.

Soooo good. High quality, affordable, awesome fusion food. So many delicious gluten free choices! If you have dietary restrictions there is something super tasty for everyone! Healthy too!!

Eat here every summer while Jeeping for a week In area. Good food. Just wish they would have had indoor seating this summer but due to Covid they were take out only. People are always nice and act like they want your business unlike some places in Ridgeway. Will be back next summer.

They have the best taco on earth! We enjoyed the pork belly taco very much while stopping by this friendly little town. What a tasty memory!

Some of the tastiest tacos I’ve ever had!

Tacos were good for the most part but the pulled pork and pork belly were 90% fat. We tried several others that were good. In the end it was pretty pricey to get 2 tacos full of gelatinous fat.

Flavors are outstanding. Portion/price is right and service was great. I hit at the beginning of lunch hour and got the tacos surprisingly fast. Will be my go-to lunch spot whenever passing through for work.

Surprisingly good. If I may offer one piece of constructive criticism, it would be: Real forks, or spoons, since the plastic utensil is a bit soft, when it comes to eating the loaded fries.

Quinn made me a quart of margarita on 5/27 extra strong and fresh and I enjoyed his attitude and service! Come by and ask for Quinn! He’s the man!

Gnar has some of the best tacos that I've ever had. They are incredibly creative and delicious. They are a little expensive, but you get what you pay for. I go there every time I'm in the area.

This is a hidden gem! The food service was extremely quick, and I did not expect a full meal for $10.50. Both of my tacos (lamb and shrimp) were fantastic, and the tots and beans were delicious, especially the beans. The margaritas are pretty strong, and 3-6pm they're $5. Will definitely come here again if I'm in the area.

DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU HAVE A DAIRY ALLERGY OR ARE VEGAN (or any food allergy for that matter).I ordered two of the vegetarian tacos and told them I have a dairy allergy. The cashier informed me that all of the aioli sauces contained dairy, so she would tell the kitchen to leave them off. I get my tacos and both are covered in aioli. I go back and ask for a remake, and the employee gives them back to me claiming they were now vegan. I go to eat them, and lo and behold there’s aioli all over one of them. I call the restaurant and ask if this particular sauce has dairy in it, since the cashier told me it did. The kitchen staff told me it was dairy free, but contained eggs (NOT VEGAN). Once I actually ate my tacos they were pretty sub-par and I was overall disappointed in my experience. If you have food allergies, don’t eat here.

Great spot to watch the alpenglow and have a groovy taco. Cashier had awesome tattoos and looked liked she could free solo 5.13s.

This is the best taco foodie place in the area. The food and the choices are the best ever. It always appears to be the hang out of the locals and visitors alike. The food is so tasty and quick to come out of the kitchen. The choices on the menu are unique and super good. Everything is great here so no wrong choices. I love the fresh made iced tea and will even stop by just to get a glass of tea to go. The food is a delight for all ages and this place is a favorite.
